This and that...

Just when you think it can't get any colder, it does. It was 18 below this morning and 40 below with the wind chill. School was closed due the cold weather. I am so ready for Spring. We have frost on the inside of our front door. Seriously!
Trey is heading out today to hit some baseballs with 2 professional baseball players. One is a family friend and the other is also from Iowa. They both go to our gym. The family friend isn't playing in the majors yet. But the other guy plays for the Mariners and is actually a really good player. He is the starting catcher. So, Trey is pretty excited to get some hitting tips from these guys! Otherwise, the week has been normal for Trey with wrestling and basketball practice. His first wrestling tournament is on Sunday. So, he is getting ready for that.
Sydney didn't have preschool today because of the weather. Her week has been pretty normal. Loving gymnastics class and has really improved since the fall. She loves the trampoline! We are heading to the IA State/NE meet on Friday. So, she is super excited to see some good gymnasts and to get to spend some time with her Aunt Lexie.
Will.... well enough said! Two new bumps/bruises appeared on his forehead this week. He continues to make sure that his daddy has his phone, billfold, and keys at all times. And that all the daycare kids have their pacifiers, blankets, shoes and whatever they need. He is a great kid just BUSY!!!
Bill and I are going to a piano bar with friends on Sat. night and to Rascal Flatts on Sunday with friends. Bill's mom is heading down for the weekend to help out and visit. It will be a busy weekend with a wrestling tournament and basketball game to add to the list. But what else would we do with our time!
It's also my mom's birthday on Sat. and we are hoping to see them soon as Sydney has a cake to make for her!
